Zimadental is a well-known dental and oral care brand for its innovative ultrasonic retainer cleaners. Operating through a Shopify Plus D2C model with customers served in the US, UK, and expanding.
When they approached ValarDigital, their Shopify Plus store was on the brink of collapse due to various issues with their theme, plagued with bugs, a fragile codebase, and updates that risked breaking additional functionality.
With no proper quality standards and documentation, Zimadental needed a complete technical rescue and a team of experts that could bring stability, reliability, and performance optimization through strategic CRO initiatives.
Years of patchwork from different developers had created what we call a “spaghetti code” situation. Changing one element in the store caused others to malfunction, and that’s why the site was breaking down several times a week.
Zimadental had worked with multiple freelancers and agencies, which led to further conflict in growth. There was no continuity or accountability, and every fix made the situation even worse.
